Nicky Jam has joined forces with another member of the Smith family.

Just days after his collaboration with Will Smith was confirmed, Nicky Jam appeared on the official remix of Jaden Smith’s “Icon” record. The original version appeared on Jaden’s 2017 project SYRE.

During a March interview with Billboard, Nicky revealed Will was responsible for his and Jaden’s collaboration. The Boston-bred artist received word that the megastar was a fan of his “X” record with J. Balvin. Will even posted an Instagram video in which he was seen jamming out to the track.

“I’m like, ‘What’s this?’ So, I look and I see him doing the song. I see him dancing,” Nicky said. “[…] From there came a relationship. After he did that, I got into contact with his manager, and I was saying I was so grateful for what he did. And [Will’s] like, ‘Yeah, you know what? Awesome. I want you to do the remix for the song ‘Icon,’ my son’s song ‘Icon.’”

You can check out the song now on all major streaming services, as well as the official music video above.

The “Icon” remix is one several Roc Nation tracks to arrive Thursday night. Jay Park shared his “Soju” record; Belly released the Weeknd-assisted cut “What You Want”; and Casanova just dropped his “Go BestFriend 2.0” with G-Eazy as well as his “Gripped Up” video with Rich the Kid.
