Nav recently sat down for a rare interview with Real 92.3 Los Angeles, talking about his upcoming album. "I'm working on my third project," he explained in February. "But yeah, that one's like pretty much done." The Toronto rapper/producer has been keeping himself remarkably busy, having released two projects in 2017 alone after signing with The Weeknd's XO imprint.

Now he's sat down for another interview, this time with Tim Westwood, opening up even further about his new album. When asked about the forthcoming release, Nav clarified it's not a mixtape but an album. "I'm really heavily involved in the production this time, as far as like the beats and stuff... It's got some good features on there," he teased. He said Lil Uzi Vert has made the album, probably referring to their recent collab "Wanted You," but it's just as likely the dudes who gave us "A$AP Ferg" and "NAVUZIMETRO#PT2" could have another track on the way. "Trust me, I ain't gonna let nobody down."

Nav added that Metro Boomin, who he released the collaborative mixtape Perfect Timing with last year, is not featured on the currently untitled album. He did, however, say, "We still working. We're always working together, man. That's my boy, man, we be up in the studio for like two, three days making beats together."

During the chat, Nav also spoke about what it was like working with Drake on "Back to Back," but he remained tight-lipped on whether we can expect to see another track from the two in the future. Listen to the full interview with Tim Westwood above.
