Lil Wayne has emerged from the shadows yet again to release a brand new track, and it's got an interesting spin on the classic Weezy we know and love. It's been a little over a week since Hot Boy Turk dropped the Lil Wayne and Kodak Black–assisted remix to "Fuck How It Turn Out" and now we've got another cut to enjoy from Cash Money's OGs.
This track was heard on the Hotboy $hit mixtape from DJ Hektik, which features material from Turk and Weezy. "Till She Lose Her Voice" gives us something we never would've seen coming: Lil Wayne rapping over an EDM-style beat. The hip-hop/electronic mashup is courtesy of producers DJ Spin and Whiiite, and is actually a pretty fire twist on the dark, grittier style we're used to hearing from the New Orleans rap veteran.
Wayne's last project was his Dedication 6 mixtape, which had features from Nicki Minaj and Gudda Gudda among others, but Weezy fans may have something new on the horizon in the form of an upcoming project with 2 Chainz. 2 Chainz recently teased a new collaboration with his longtime rap collaborator on Instagram, saying he and Wayne have "another one on the way."
