Azealia Banks recently sat down with Access Hollywood to tell her side of the story of what went down with Russell Crowe the night the two got in an alleged physical altercation.

"Every time something like this happens, I'm always like being blamed for like wanting this kind of attention. Like, who fucking wants to tell someone they got spat on? That's humiliating. I'm just really, really humiliated," Banks said as she broke down crying.

From there, she shared her recollection of what took place. "It just happened so fast," Banks explained before claiming Crowe was drinking and mocked her career. In return, she shot back at him. "Everyone was like, 'Oh my god. How dare you.'" She alleged that Crowe later forced her out of the hotel room after Banks had an exchange with a woman at the party.

Banks said she is not sure what made Crowe snap. "Who knows? Maybe it was the moonshine? Maybe it was the rejection? Maybe it was the jokes?" They also discussed the lack of surveillance tapes of the events, and her feelings on the aftermath of the claims. She also alleged that RZA's reaction to the whole thing was, "Don't say anything."

RZA, who was rumored to be trying to work out a record deal for Banks at the time, recalled the night differently. "Azealia threaten to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason. Russell blocked the attack and expelled her from the suite," he wrote on Facebook, adding that her behavior that night was "obnoxious."

As of last week, Banks said she is pressing charges against Crowe for allegedly attacking her. Meanwhile, police tried to find footage of the altercation to determine what really happened, but were not able to uncover anything.

For now, it's back to a case of he said/she said in what still sounds like a very sad incident all around. You can watch her full interview above.
