Lil Wayne's health issues continue to dog him. According to a new report from TMZ, Wayne suffered another seizure last week. He was just moments away from taking the stage at TAO Nightclub in Las Vegas last Friday for a pre-UFC 200 party when the seizure reportedly struck. The incident caused him to cancel the performance and even led to his hospitalization. He's now out and recovering, and the report claims Wayne has chalked it up to problems with his medication. He's suffered from epilepsy for several years now.
Many will remember that just last month his plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Omaha, Neb. after he suffered a seizure on the plane. Some in the media and music worlds tried to connect the incident to his use of lean, but Wayne came out and claimed that he was simply unable to access the proper epilepsy medication while he was in Milwaukee and went without it. Although he was also hospitalized during that incident, he was back on the road just a few days later, and didn't cancel a single show.
All of that follows a string of seizures he had back in 2012 and 2013. He eventually came out and made his epilepsy diagnosis public after the incidents caused him to cancel several performances. He has repeatedly denied that his use of lean has anything to do with his ongoing issues with seizures.
