With the release of their collaborative album ColleGrove, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz established themselves as the unexpected hip-hop veteran power duo to watch. Now, it looks like they're going to keep the music coming. Although Wayne was featured on most of the tracks on ColleGrove, he didn't make all of them. The pair decided to correct this for at least one song, and the result is "MFN Right (Remix)."
The song remains largely unchanged from its original, Zaytonven and Mike WiLL Made-It-produced version, but they did throw in some additional instrumentals along with the fresh verse from Wayne. On the track, Weezy goes in on his new verse, rapping "ColleGrove we out here/All these bitches want this dope dick/And our pockets look like blowfish/And we higher than some voltage." With the positive reception to ColleGrove from most fans, it's clear than the pair's working relationship has been good for both of their careers. Wayne's Tha Carter V may be perpetually delayed, but at least we're finally getting some solid new music from him.
