Mike WiLL Made-It has had a pretty busy weekend. The Atlanta producer and Rae Sremmurd’s Sway Lee prices went up for features after appearing on Beyoncé’s “Formation.” Despite some talk back from Ebro, they've gotten recognition for their sound from one of the greatest musicians.

Although the pair's contributions have been making headlines lately, Mike WiLL is also promoting his upcoming mixtape Ransom 2 since last month, and now we have another update. According to Mike WiLL, he put Ransom 2 on hold to focus his attention on “Formation.” Since the song came out, he says he can get back to work on Ransom 2. But the tape won’t be hosted by Gucci Mane as he hoped.

Really had to delay #RANSOM2 to make sure everything was A1 on my end on Formation, but couldn't spill the beans of course.
Now I can get #RANSOM2 done how I want to. Unfortunately the feds said no to Gucci hosting a project from jail.

Mike WiLL and Gucci will team up in a different capacity soon. He says once Guwop gets out of jail, their trap tape will definitely come out.

My "Trap Tape" is still coming once the Trap God comes home.#FreeGucci

In the meantime, listen to Rae Sremmurd's "By Chance" again while you wait for Ransom 2.
