Deekline, long-time collaborator of Wizard, is here with a new partnership that sees him buddy up with Tony Quattro for a six-track package of late-night club rumblers. Clearly impressed by Quattro's much-discussed remixes for labels like Enchufada and the now defunct Trouble & Bass, as well as his collaboration with the Stanton Warriors on their Rebel Bass album, it's hardly surprising Deekline was so keen to team up with him. The whole EP is full of heaters but our personal favourite was "3 Mins To Midnight", a futuristic low-slung swagger and big 808 drums. Here's to hoping the two producers make this a more permanent arrangement.
