Tommy Mallet’s UK-based footwear and apparel company, Mallet London, has presented a new film and campaign imagery for its Fall/Winter 2023 apparel collection.

Teaming up with some of the UK’s hottest creatives, the seasonal instalment stars grime and rap star Ghetts, rising rappers Berna and Silky, and famed bikerider One Wheel Wavey. The new line encompasses a fusion of diverse styles, ranging from substantial 400 GSM tracksuits and shorts to T-shirts fabricated using organic cotton, all accompanied by an array of subtle branding.

Reflecting on the collection and his role in the campaign, Ghetts said: “My roots trace back to East London, where a plethora of musical influences surrounded my upbringing. Whether it was my aunt’s melodic vocals or the harmonious notes played by my dad and nan on the piano, music was always present. In my early days, I engaged in freestyle sessions with my friends on the streets and even hit the radio waves, which served as a platform to be heard and acknowledged.

“I hold the conviction that there’s a wealth of knowledge to gain from every corner of the globe. That being said, my current stance is a result of my journey, and I’m hesitant to alter any part of it, as it might disrupt the very person I’ve become. While aspirations for more persist in life, I find contentment within myself. The prospect of losing any fragment is disconcerting. The crux lies in self-belief—this conviction opens the doors to endless possibilities.”

Moreover, the latest campaign by Mallet London showcases Berna, a burgeoning star in the realm of UK rap. Revered for his exceptional lyricism and distinctive flair, he said: “No matter where I go in the world or wherever I choose to reside later on in life, London will always be home. It is fun, trendy, stylish, loud, multicultural, and proud. This city also depicts the life and the state of mind that I once was in. It is the origin of Berna and his story but definitely not where it ends. When I moved to Essex 10 years ago, I never stopped returning to London to this day. Without London, there is no Berna.”
