Garbstore and cult Californian footwear brand Simple have teamed up for a tribute shoe that celebrates the iconic skate culture of the ‘90s.
With a vision to create footwear emphasising clean, basic design with an upfront and honest brand ethos, Simple is best known for its pared-back designs which have cultivated a loyal and dedicated fan base. Initially worn by legendary skaters such as Richard Mulder and Mark Gonzales, the nostalgic collaboration reimagines Simple’s iconic OS silhouette with clean, minimalist, and comfortable design codes.
Using original shades grey and green from the brand’s early product catalogues, the multi-panelled Garbstore x Simple OS sneaker features an embossed logo and mix of premium suede and upcycled rubber, along with a recycled PU foam insole for extra comfort. Additionally, details like long-lasting stitched-down outsoles and a sturdy leather heel cap ensure the model remains the perfect casual shoe for everyday wear.
