Highlighted by a bottle of Schwarzwald Dry Gin, the collaboration sees a slew of fresh designs which combine Monkey 47’s unique ethos and BAPE’s iconic design style. While the bottle itself houses the gin brand’s traditional robust flavour, on the outside, the traditional BAPE®️ camouflage print is overlaid with monkey graphics, exotic jungle flowers, palm trees, and three variants of camouflage spots in green, blue, and pink.
Joining the alcoholic offering is a selection of ready-to-wear apparel fit for the summer heat. Comprising just five pieces, standouts include a white T-shirt with a camouflage BAPE emblem graphic and a pink and green button-up Hawaiian shirt. Other notable inclusions comprise several iterations of camouflage hoodies, tees and Hawaiian shirts, all of which bring together the design efforts of BAPE and Monkey 47 in a truly unique way.
Launched at an exclusive event at the BAPE® flagship store, famous faces in attendance included Stefflon Don, M Huncho, Headie One, and DENO who were some of the first to set eyes on the collection. Leicester-based rapper Sainte also pulled up and delivered a high-energy live performance along with DJ sets from Siobhan Bell, Jamo Beatz, and JoceWavy.
