Inclement weather? No problem. Rains prepare a wet-weather masterclass for Autumn/Winter 2020 with "Chasing Time".
Autumn/Winter 2020's instalment of Copenhagen Fashion Week marked a significant milestone for Rains, as they presented their debut runway show. The occasion saw the Scandinavian heritage brand frame a slowed pace of time with particular attention paid to mindfulness, showcased through 'Chasing Time'. Inspired by the fast-paced, multi-dimensional lives we live within both the physical and digital, the AW20 collection offers a balance, introducing a series of new and updated silhouettes suited to all walks of life. Each piece is created with the purpose of longevity, executed with an understated yet bold design approach.
Commenting on the direction of the full collection, Tanne Vinterm Rains' Head of Design said: “With this collection, we are building a figurative time- shelter, creating silhouettes and colour palettes with longevity, each exuding an understated, yet gripping impact."
