Anybody who's ever watched a muted TV at a bar knows that closed-captioning screws up all the time. Odds are deaf people are constantly confused by some of the shit they read. It's full of typos, bad info, and sometimes completely unintelligible gibberish.
So last week, when Sacramento Kings rookie Nik Stauskas was called "Sauce Castillo," it was entertaining for must of us, but it was pretty much par for the course for the hearing impaired:

Still, it unintentionally gave Stauskas the best nickname in the NBA at the moment, and the Kings intend to capitalize on it before their premature offseason begins. This Sunday night will be "Sauce Castillo Night," complete with t-shirts at the team store, and sauce that promises to be hot enough to punish your toilet from long range.
Not only is this one of the better promotions we've heard in some time, but it'll also give fans some reason to attend a game between the Jazz and the Kings with just a week left in the season.
