This seems like a pretty innocuous tweet from Ayesha Curry, wife of Stephen Curry, but nevertheless it's had her trending as the No. 1 topic on Twitter for the past several hours:

Everyone's into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters 😂😂😂

The good news about having an account with a lot of followers is that people see what you say. The bad news about having an account with a lot of followers is, also, that people see what you say. After igniting a debate amongst the usually level-headed social media masses, Curry tried to explain herself:

Just looking at the latest fashion trends. I'll take classy over trendy any day of the week. #saturdaynightinsight

😂 and all I'm doing is sitting here reading a style weekly 😎😎😎. You guys definitely entertain me that's for sure.

You can't sleep on Twitter. Not even for 10 minutes. By that time her mentions were littered with people lending support:

@ayeshacurry Steph curry gets the good stuff after them 40 point games

As well as those who opposed:

There are likely several conclusions that could be drawn from this still ongoing argument, the most obvious of which is that some people on Twitter need to get a life.
