With Labor Day weekend marking the unofficial end of summer, it’s time to start looking ahead to the fall sneaker rotation. This week has plenty of valid options to consider.

The drops kicks off on Wednesday with the latest Sacai x Fragment x Nike LDWaffle. That collab will be followed up on Thursday by the return of the OG Air Max BW, two animal-inspired Air Force 1s, and a new duo of 990v3s from New Balance and Levi’s. A bulk of this week’s releases arrive on Friday such as the “Toadstool” Air Huarache, “Sanddrift” Air Max 90, Social Status x Nike “Free Lunch” Dunk, “Outside Clothes” Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v3, “Onyx” Yeezy QNTM, and a collection from Prince Tennis and Reebok. Sacai x Fragment x Nike LDWaffle 'Light Smoke Grey'

What You Need to Know: The second colorway of Sacai and Fragment’s LDWaffle collab is set to arrive this Wednesday. The latest pair of the popular silhouette is dressed in Light Smoke Grey mesh and suede. The same details found on the first like dual midsole branding, Fragment lightning bolts on each tongue, and heel tabs with Sacai logos all make a return.

Nike Air Max BW 'Persian Violet'

What You Need to Know: The underrated Air Max BW is getting another retro release this week. The 1991 runner returns true to OG form in its “Persian Violet” color scheme complete with a black mesh upper, violet neoprene tongue, and ventilated white heel.

Nike Air Force 1 'Animal' Pack

What You Need to Know: Nike is dropping two animal-inspired colorways of the Air Force 1. The first is the “Crane” color scheme dressed in a white leather upper, black tongue, grey nubuck Swoosh, and red tongue tag. A crane is embroidered on the lateral heel. The second mimicks turtles with an olive green tumbled leather color scheme. Like the first, a small turtle can be seen embroidered on each lateral heel to match the overall theme.

Levi's x New Balance 990v3

What You Need to Know: New Balance joins forces with Levi’s once again for denim variations of one of its most popular models. This time, the 990v3 has been created in two colorways, grey and blue, that have each been crafted using cow suede with denim underlays. The signature Levi’s tab can be seen hanging from the “N” logo on each lateral side panel.

Nike Air Huarache 'Toadstool'

What You Need to Know: Nike continues its impressive run of Huarache retros in 2021 with the “Toadstool” colorway dropping this Friday. The earthy color scheme features a light brown leather toe and black neoprene bootie, perfect for the upcoming fall weather.

Social Status x Nike 'Free Lunch' Dunk 'Chocolate Milk'

What You Need to Know: Following a minor pushback, the “Chocolate Milk” colorway of the Social Status x Nike “Free Lunch” Dunk is dropping exclusively via Social Status on Friday morning. The colorway takes inspiration from the chocolate milk that would be included in school lunches with a brown nubuck upper, velvet detailing, Tyvek tongue tag made to mimic a meal ticket, milky gel Swoosh, and the materials used across the upper listed on each medial heel like ingredients. More specifically, the theme is a nod to the free lunch program, a federal initiative that provides free school meals to children living in underserved communities across the country. Social Status founder James Whitner told Complex that the collab’s unique shape was created exclusively for the project.

Adidas Yeezy QNTM 'Onyx'

What You Need to Know: The latest Yeezy QNTM is dressed in a stealthy “Onyx” colorway. The high-top basketball shoe features a black and grey upper covered in the QNTM’s signature striped pattern complete with a suede toe cap and neoprene bootie.

Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v3 'Outside Clothes'

What You Need to Know: Joe Freshgoods’ highly-anticipated second collaboration with New Balance, the “Outside Clothes” 990v3, is finally receiving a wider release on Friday. Inspired by childhood summers spent playing outside, the upper is covered in shades like brown, blue, and green. Details include “Outside Clothes” stitched across the heels in green, “JFG” written on each lateral heel in place of the usual “990,” and “made for US” on each heel tab instead of “made in U.S.A.”

Prince x Reebok Club C

What You Need to Know: Reebok’s latest collab is with tennis brand Prince. The result is two colorways a piece of the Club C 85 and Club C Revenge. The Club C Revenge flips the equation with colorful leather uppers and white accents. The collab is completed with a capsule of sportswear including pieces like mesh shorts and nylon track jackets.
