The 2022 NBA All-Star Game takes place in Cleveland this weekend. While the sneaker releases connected to the festivities are not quite as coveted as they were just a handful of years ago, Nike has decided to bring back one of the biggest All-Star sneakers of all time to celebrate.

This week’s most notable drop is the “Big Bang” LeBron 9 retro. Other great releases include new colorways of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 1, a Reebok Question commemorating its 25th anniversary, a Dunk Low celebrating Mexican culture, and more. Check out all of this week’s best sneaker releases below.

Air Jordan 1 'Dark Marina Blue'

Price: $170

When: Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: A brand new black and blue Air Jordan 1 is scheduled to hit stores later this week. The “Dark Marina Blue” colorway features a black leather upper with blue overlays. White hits are used on the “Nike Air” tongue tag and midsole.

Reebok Question Mid 'Silver Toe'

When: Thursday, Feb. 17

What You Need to Know: Reebok is celebrating the Question Mid’s silver anniversary with a special “Silver Toe” colorway of Allen Iverson’s iconic signature sneaker. The pair sports a white upper with metallic silver hits on the toe cap and heel. A special “25” logo has been stitched on the right heel and the usual “3” stamps on the bottom portion of each heel have been chromed out for the special makeup as well.

Nike Dunk Low 'Siempre Familia'

What You Need to Know: Nike continues its Siempre Familia series of sneakers this week by bringing the theme to the popular Dunk Low. Honoring Mexican culture, the pair features special elements like an olive green faux iguana skin upper with multicolored iguana overlays. A yellow iguana graphic is also stitched on each lateral heel. The standout element of the pair is the blue suede Swoosh and heel tab covered in multicolored detailing.

What You Need to Know: One of the biggest LeBron releases ever is getting its first retro run this Friday just in time for All-Star Weekend in Cleveland. Originally released in 2012 as part of the All-Star festivities in Orlando, the “Big Bang” LeBron 9 caused pandemonium the first time it released. Its bright orange upper, glow in the dark sole, galaxy print liner, and intergalactic-themed branding were meant to be a nod to the Kennedy Space Center that is stationed in Orlando.

'Rick and Morty' x Puma MB.01

When: Friday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: The latest pair of LaMelo Ball’s Puma MB.01 sees the young star’s first signature sneaker covered in a Rick and Morty theme. The popular Adult Swim animated series is represented with a mismatched slime green and fluorescent pink pair. Details nodding to the show include portals on each tongue, the show’s title text on each insole, Rick’s face on the left inner tongue, and Morty’s stamped on the right inner tongue.

Air Jordan 3 'Cardinal'

When: Saturday, Feb. 19 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: The “Cardinal” colorway that first appeared on the Air Jordan 7 in 1992. Now, the clean color scheme is being used to outfit the Air Jordan 3. The pair features a white tumbled leather upper, red accents on the liner and midsole, and a yellow Jumpman stitched on the tongue. Of course, the 3’s signature elephant print paneling is also present.

Adidas Yeezy 500 'Blush'

When: Saturday, Feb. 19 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: Adidas is restocking the “Blush” Yeezy 500 this week. One of the OG 500 colorways released in 2018, the chunky low-top is covered in a faint pink mix of suede, leather, and mesh.
