ASAP Nast has once again joined forces with Converse to create his own take on the brand's Jack Purcell model.
The ASAP Mob member has chosen to reinterpret the casual lifestyle silhouette as an outdoor chukka boot. To achieve this new aesthetic, Nast worked with Converse footwear designers Julian Guzman and Matt Sleep. Changes include a heightened ankle collar and rubber overlays that extend further up the side panels of the canvas upper for added durability.
"The silhouette is functional, durable. It’s intriguing. I wanted to craft a style that could be worn every day," said Nast in an official press release.
Nast's Jack Purcell will be offered in "Beechnut" or "Pumpkin Spice" color schemes. Each will feature a black toe cap, black rubber overlays, a white One Star logo on each heel, and special "JP" branding on each insole. The duo will be dropping alongside a matching collection of apparel as well.
Look for the ASAP Nast x Converse Jack Purcell Chukka Mid collection to hit converse.com and other select retailers on Friday, March 22 for $100 each.
