Recap: Sneaker Con 2011 NYC - The Setup

More than 40 vendors were in the house for the biggest Sneaker Con event to date.

Yesterday, traveling sneaker event Sneaker Con returned to New York City for what they described as their biggest event yet. The main attraction for the gathering was the 40+ vendors that were expected to be on hand. As anticipated, the facility was packed with vendors selling and promoting vintage sneakers, t-shirts, hats, jewelry, figurines and more. Also in the house was adidas Originals, Sneaker Con's primary sponsor, who used Saturday's event to launch their brand new LQC Basketball Shoe.

Before we take a further look at Sneaker Con, here's a look at the work put into setting things up. Cardboard boxes were aplenty, as well as all kinds of bags and luggage.
