During halftime of Sunday night's NBA All-Star Game, Dwight Howard switched out of his vibrant Orange County-inspired All-Star kicks and laced up the upcoming "Lei Feng" colorway of the adidas adiPower 2. Designed in tribute to Chinese national culture and People's Liberation Army soldier Lei Feng, the shoe sports an army green nubuck and synthetic upper, embossed with screw details symbolic of public service and Feng's desire to be a never-rusting screw in China’s revolutionary machine. Metallic Gold appears on the upper lace eyelets, DH logo on the tongue and script on the heel, while royal blue works the laces and 3-Stripes. Black works the inner lining, heel counter and midsole, which sits atop a predominantly cream colored outsole to cap off the look.

The "Lei Feng" adiPower Howard 2 has started to surface at retailers overseas. No word yet on the U.S. drop, but we'll keep you updated here at Sole Collector.
