Vince Staples thinks that the Marvel Cinematic Universe could benefit from his presence, and frankly, it’s hard to disagree.

The Long Beach rapper’s pitch to the MCU started with him providing his thoughts on Spider-Man: No Way Home with a series of hilarious tweets. “Off this Spider-Man they treating my n***a Peter like he Ruby Bridges,” Staples tweeted on Monday, Dec. 27, before vaguely delving into spoilers with his follow-up tweets. “Oh it’s up they just flipped Aunt May in the lobby!”

Staples, who recently starred in Adult Swim’s animated series Lazor Wulf, then said that the MCU needs him if they’re going to get real vengeance.

“They need me in the MCU if they tryna have some real get bacc,” he wrote. “Where is the vengeance? Put me in X-Men I’m marking everything out. Dead homies.”

While Staples only has a few acting credits to his name, mostly in the form of voice acting and cameos, he’s already  contributed to two Marvel films thanks to his soundtrack work for Black Panther and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Whether or not he gets to actually play a superhero one day remains to be seen. But we are so here for it.
