Baby Jabba Comes for Baby Yoda's Crown as the Cutest Creature in a Galaxy Far, Far Away

Where's the love for "Stinky"?

From the moment we first laid our collective eyes on Baby Yoda at the end of the first episode of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, it was love at first sight.

Much like Mando, we became fiercely protective towards the creature that the show refers to as The Child, even though there was no way we could ensure his well-being. We sought vengeance against the two Stormtroppers, played by Jason Sudeikis and Adam Pally, who repeatedly struck our beloved new character. By the end of Season 1, it felt as though our bond with Baby Yoda only grew stronger, and couldn't possibly be broken. But then, Baby Jabba came along, and may have complicated matters.

Created by Leonardo Viti, a 3D character-development artist based in the UK, this baby version of Jabba the Hutt borrows certain elements from the original Star Wars character, but like Baby Yoda, the features are softened and made chubbier to emulate the look of a young child. In the case of Baby Jabba, the end result was an adorable success that may have ousted Baby Yoda as the cutest in the galaxy.

Others are fiercely defending their allegiance to Baby Yoda by threatening Baby Jabba.

We should also take a moment to acknowledge the existence of a character nicknamed "Stinky," who is actually the son of Jabba the Hutt. Therefore, the creature could considered the original Baby Jabba. Stinky appears in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
