Good news, Hey Arnold! fans: The beloved Nickelodeon series will return to the small screen very soon.

With just a few months left until the premiere of Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, Nickelodeon has come through with a behind-the-scenes look narrated by the show’s creator Craig Bartlett. We’re given some insight into the TV movie’s plot and how it will pick up from where the show left off. Though the finale aired more than 13 years ago, there will only be a one or two year gap in the Hey Arnold! universe.

“In the two-hour Jungle Movie, we’re going to start in Arnold’s city that we’re all familiar with,” Bartlett explains. “And then Arnold and all his classmates are going to travel to the jungle in Central America, in a made-up country called San Lorenzo.”

Bartlett also reveals how the main characters have been updated to reflect how they’ve grown and evolved within the one or two years. The upcoming made-for-tv film, which is a follow-up to 2002′s Hey Arnold!: The Movie, will also delve into what happened with Arnold's parents. You can check out the behind-the-scenes look above.

The two-hour Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie is anticipated to air Nov. 23 on Nickelodeon.
