The powerhouse HBO series Game of Thrones released a short teaser trailer on Friday announcing that they had begun production on the show's seventh season. The trailer mostly contains shots of the crew creating scenery, with a few voiceovers and subtle clues for obsessives.

The trailer, which can be viewed above, was debuted at Comic-Con. It has been reported that Season 7 will only last for seven episodes, and many believe it will be the penultimate season of the successful series.

Also released along with the trailer was a blooper reel for the show's sixth season:

Directors for Season 7 will be Mark Mylod, Jeremy Podeswa, Matt Shakman and Alan Taylor. Production will take place in multiple cities in Spain, including Sevilla, Caceres, Almodovar del Rio, Santiponce, Zumaia, and Bermeo.

Game of Thrones was recently nominated for 23 Emmys for its successful sixth season, after winning a record 12 of them last year.
