Star Daniel Radcliffe isn't in the sequel to his 2012 hit horror flick The Woman in Black (SPOILER: he probably dies at the end), but that's not stopping it from exceeding box office expectations. As in many a horror sequel, there are no famous actors in The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, but it still sidled up to The Hobbit and won the number two spot this weekend.

The sequel beat out Unbroken and Into the Woods on Friday night, and looks to hit $16 million by tomorrow. The Woman in Black 2 stars Jeremy Irvine, who is most well-known from War Horse. Still, the big-budget, late December releases are doing well, including Night at the Museum 3, and are expected to make $90 million by this weekend.
