If you have longed to see a lot of blood and even more gratuitous nudity on the big screen, this is going to be amazing news.

HBO and IMAX have made a deal to show Game of Thrones in 150 IMAX theaters the week of January 23-29, with the show to include the final two episodes of Season 4 as well as an exclusive premiere trailer for Season 5. GoT becomes the first TV show ever brought to an IMAX theater, and the sprawling final two episodes are a perfect fit for the big screen given their memorable sequences like the epic battle for The Wall and Tyrion’s escape from King’s Landing.

HBO’s chief marketing officer Pamela Levine said that “The cinematic brilliance and grand scope of the series is perfect for the IMAX format. We are always looking to provide fans with new and exciting ways to experience the show and viewing two key episodes, along with the new trailer, on such an impressive platform makes for a great event.”

IMAX has yet to announce which theaters will be taking part in the screening, but it figures to be in many major cities across the country. Honestly, just seeing the new trailer in IMAX would be worth the price of admission alone.
