The hype surrounding Super Smash Bros. is inescapable these days, but totally justified. Which is exactly why we’re not surprised that the latest version in the series has become the fastest selling Wii U game ever. A title previously belonging to Mario Kart 8.
Nintendo is reporting that 490,000 copies of the game were sold in the span of Nov.21-Nov.23.
As you may know, the 3DS version of Super Smash dropped last month.
Super Smash Bros. will continue to roll out worldwide within the next few days in places like Europe (Nov. 28), Australia (Nov. 29), and Japan (Dec. 6.) Run to your nearest store and cop it immediately or wait until the holidays if you're in the struggle.
