Does anyone still play Angry Birds? The game certainly isn't as ubiquitous as it was years ago—sales were down 53 percent in 2013— so we're scratching our heads as to why anyone thinks making an Angry Birds movie is a good idea. Even Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader seem to have lost their senses (or are getting paid a shit ton of money).
The two Saturday Night Alums will be lending their voices to the animated Angry Birds film set to release in 2016, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Not only them, but also Peter Dinklage, Danny McBride, Hannibal Buress, and Keegan Michael-Key.
That's a lot of star power for a game that has since been replaced by Candy Crush and later 2048 in our hearts. What is going here?
