The next wave of updates for Grand Theft Auto V online was released today for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Although there's been no official word from Rockstar as to what the patch actually addresses, early reports from users are suggesting it closed off some exploits to replay missions over and over to gain XP and money. Sorry to those of you hoarding cash replaying missions trying to save up for a tank or attack helicopter.

Unfortunatley, the patch still hasn't fixed the problem of online characters disappering. Rockstar confirmed earlier this week they have received reports of players losing characters, progress, in-game cash, and items and are working on fixing the issues at hand

"We are working diligently to identify and correct the causes for these losses, as well as to establish how best to restore any lost progress and value." said Rockstar.

Yesterday, Rockstar urged players who lost online characters to not attempt to create a new one in the empty slot their character would normally appear in.

Since it's release roughly a week ago, other than the character loss problem, Grand Theft Auto V online has been running rather well. Following the initial server problems the game had, it looks as if Rockstar is finally working out all the kinks.
