Located in Brooklyn, the Linden Houses are a collection of 19 buildings on over 30 acres of land. They were completed in June of 1958 and are currently home to over 4,000 New Yorkers. Despite being born in the Bronx, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein grew up in East New York, specifically the Linden Houses. After graduating from Harvard and earning his law degree from Harvard Law, Blankfein began his career as an unsatisfied attorney. After joining Goldman, he ascended to the Management Committee and Board of Directors before being named Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs in June 2006.
