The LAPD is hunting for former officer Christopher Dorner, who shot two officers in addition to killing the daughter of a former police captain. However, the department is making itself look horrible by shooting innocent people who have a vehicle similar to Dorner's.

Yesterday morning, two women in Torrance, CA were shot while delivering newspapers in a truck that is reportedly similar to the one Dorner drives. One was reportedly shot in the back and the other was shot in the hand.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the officers who opened fire were part of a "protective detail" for one of Dorner's targets:

A second shooting, involving Torrance police officers, occurred about 5:45 a.m. at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street in Torrance. No injuries were reported in that incident.

Residents have been advised to avoid pickup trucks that resemble the one Dorner is driving. That advice might save your life.
