Leave it to director David Lynch to take an issue and turn it into an eerie mind-fuck.

Along with director of photography Frederick Elmes, Lynch crafted this dark PSA regarding New York's rodent issue back in '91.  Elmes and Lynch previously worked together on Blue Velvet, and were able to re-create the same disturbing tone that film (and all of the filmmaker's work) is famous for.

As for the rat problem, little has changed over the past two decades.
