Courtesy of the game's Facebook page, this is the first screenshot of The Amazing Spider-Man, the game that's set to coincide with the upcoming film reboot. Whether a series that was already rebooted so recently needs another version is up for debate, but at least the game is being made by Beenox, the folks behind 2010's more-than-decent Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

It's an epilogue to the film, penned by one of the writers behind the new Battlestar Galactica. And we're glad that they're going back to the open-world format, as are most fans. There's not a whole lot to glean from the screenshot—Spidey's suit looks nice, at least. Texture!
