Sure, the threequel had shotguns, but it didn’t have levels and pacing as great as the second one, which also had another spiritual successor that involved typing the zombies to death rather than shooting them. Think we’re joking? We’re not. What was so great about this one, though, was the variety and spontaneity of the different kinds of ghouls that would come after you. Some would flip all over the place, while others would lumber toward you and then break into a run, which all made for some nerve-racking shooting. And the voice acting…well, it was in a league of its own. In a bad way, but that’s what made it so great. G needs help!
