You know what was nice about old-school games? Like old old-school games? There was always a way to get through. Wait, no—there wasn't a way to get through. At least not in Venture. (And no, it wasn't the ad-free version of Adventure. Zing!) Not thanks to the hallmonsters, who were always patrolling the hallways and being all "hey, you can't kill us or even hurt us, so we're just gonna go ahead and kill you over and over and over and over and over and had a psychotic break yet? No? Guess we haven't killed you enough."
