What you were probably playing instead: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
If you have ever wondered what it would be like to have a gigantic Muppet as your bodyguard—and really, who hasn't?—Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom has the answer. The puzzle platformer follows the thief Tepeu and his fuzzy ogre companion Majin as they try to save their kingdom from the forces of darkness. The gameplay dynamic between the player's direct control of the stealth-based Tepeu and indirect control of the much stronger Majin actually makes for interesting puzzle solving and combat. Majin doesn't reinvent the wheel (as a budget title listing for $40, you can hardly expect it to), but it does conjure up an interesting world worth visiting.
