The conclusion of the Future trilogy hit a high note after the semi-disappointing, yet satisfying squishy middle section that was Quest for Booty. A Crack in Time featured a bit of the same nuts-and-bolts-gathering action of the first two, as well as the ability to fly Ratchet's spaceship from one location to another.

FUN FACT: Developers ran a contest allowing fans to design a weapon that would eventually be used in the game. It turned out to be the Spiral of Death, a gun that shot glowing sawblades that boomeranged back after hitting an enemy. America's got talent, y'all!
