“Wasting Time” is a slow-burning, yet danceable track that unites Brent Faiyaz with Drake. After a symphony of strings ushers in the beat, Brent delivers sweet and melodic notes over production from The Neptunes. “If you’re gonna waste your time/ Then waste your time with me/ You can all the space/ More than you need,” he sings. Meanwhile, Drakes skates over the scattered beat as he vows to buy his girl anything she needs. “The boy is back, I never turned my back/ I just lapped em, so now all that they see is my back,” he spits. “Wasting Time” is expected to appear on Brent Faiyaz’s upcoming project.

“I Believed It” is a new track from DVSN and Ty Dolla Sign that has an old school feel. On the track, Ty Dolla Sign lays down syrupy vocals as he sings about the trust issues in his relationship that have resulted from infidelity. DVSN’s Daniel Day slides on the record so effortlessly, you barely recognize the transition. The track also features a posthumous verse from the late Mac Miller, who spits, “Tell, me is it worth it? I ain’t perfect/ Know that I ain’t been a nice guy/ All the time, that’s the way the life it goes.”

In 1995, Nas recorded the original version of “Life Is Like a Dice Game,” but the track was never officially released—until now. Over a new beat courtesy of Hit-Boy, Nas raps about maintaining fame in the industry. He also touches on the original track, spitting, “This original recording hit the street round 93/ Was just a leak, the verse was incomplete, reconstructed the beat/ So we can fuck up the street.” The updated version is rounded out with two new verses from Cordae and Freddie Gibbs, who discussed the gambles we all take in life. “Life’s a bitch, disconnection is the price of bliss,” Cordae raps.
