UK-wide youth development platform Apprentice Nation have announced UK rap stars AJ Tracey and Ivorian Doll and pop-R&B singer Mae Muller as performers for their upcoming gig on September 29.

Apprentice Nation’s mission is to give young people the skills, tools and confidence they need to find a career they can excel in by providing early-careers support, guided workshops and online content.

Now, hot on the heels of announcing a groundbreaking new partnership with Lucozade designed to unlock the potential of the next generation, comes their latest headline event.

Apprentice Nation work with a range of artists and creatives who can speak authentically to their audience, harnessing the power of their music and message to engage with young people from all backgrounds. Previous participants include 6LACK, Tinie (Tempah), RAYE, Krept & Konan, Young T & Bugsey and Ray BLK. Together, they have engaged with thousands of young people across the UK and supported them to build skills for work and life.

At the upcoming gig, as well as performing their latest hits, the artists will be sharing their real-life career experiences along with confidence-boosting tips and advice.

“I’m a big believer in seeing the positives and breaking down barriers, so I’m proud to be joining Apprentice Nation to inspire and motivate people to unlock their potential and shape their future,” says AJ Tracey. “I’m excited to have this opportunity to perform my latest tracks and share my story, especially at a time when there’s still so much uncertainty around. I didn’t always know what my path was, so I know it’s really important to keep highlighting the opportunities out there for those who might not know where to look; whatever your situation, you’ve got to keep putting your best foot forward. You can do what you want and be what you want.”

The occasion will be even more special following the recent cancellation of AJ Tracey’s Flu Game Arena Tour, meaning this is one of the only chances you’ll get to see the UK rap star perform this year. The gig will premiere online on October 7 and will be available on-demand thereafter via YouTube.
