At present, the UK is witnessing an ever-growing underclass of experimental musicians across a range of sounds and styles. The latest graduate, and among the most promising, is London-based ryhmesmith Isaac Danquah: his new 7-track EP, The Boy Meets Man Experiment, is centred around stripped-back, atmospheric instrumentation together with his brand of introspective lyrisicm. The majority of the project is clearly steered in the vision of Danquah and the result is a very singular process, save for a sole feature from Kojey Radical on the EP's closer, "Brooding". A sterling set, appreciate the minor nuances that help bring out the textured beauty in the music of Isaac Danquah below.
