East London MC Halo may have first cropped up on our radars back in 2009 when he was just 12 years old, performing at the Poetry Society's Slambassadors competition at London's Royal Festival Hall, but he's now finally dropping his debut single "Talk That Stuff". The lessons learned at competitions like that, and by generally taking an interest in poetry, are plain to hear on the bold new outing. With the video comes a raw, but equally bold, set of visuals that follow Halo and his crew (including D Double himself) around town as he tells the story of life on his block. The calm and collected instrumental comes courtesy of Diamondz (check out his work on Mez's "Magnum" or Faze Miyake's Role Reversal EP while you're at it) and gives Halo the perfect backdrop to weave his day-in-the-life tale.
