Yesterday, hundreds of thousands of fans gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to say goodbye to the "King of Pop," Michael Jackson, at a public memorial. An online lottery selected the 17,500 people (of the 1.6 million who registered) who could actually attend the star-studded event, which featured tributes from Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer, Usher, Lionel Richie, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Brooke Shields, Al Sharpton, and a whole bunch of other famous folks.
