The 2020 BET Awards arrived just over a month after the murder of George Floyd, and the subsequent global response in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. With the subject of police brutality and systematic racism at the forefront of everyone's minds, it wasn't a surprise to see many of tonight's performers take on the moment with stirring visuals, heart-wrenching images, and powerful messages.
