Nothing soothes the soul quite like R&B, and that goes double when it's Shaé Universe.
Buoyed by the success of her 2018 heart-melter "No Stallin'", Shaé is today revisiting the track to give it some sumptuous visuals courtesy of directors Adelight and Chris Fowles. Since it originally dropped, "No Stallin'" has racked up seven-figure streams with ease and the new video is all but guaranteed to boost that success even further.
Shaé's mix of nostalgia and future-facing R&B has had our undivided attention for some time now—thanks to past efforts like "Melanin", "Black Panther" and "Meant To Be"—but she's clearly only just getting started.
Late last year she also announced that a debut album would be forthcoming in the first half of this year, but with the coronavirus pandemic, we can only hope those plans haven't stalled too much. Regardless, we're grateful for any offering from the Nigeria-via-London vocalist.
