In celebration of his 17th birthday, NLE Choppa has gifted fans with the video for his new single "Forever."
Much like the track, this visual showcases a different side of the Memphis-raised rapper, as it's essentially a love letter to his girlfriend, Mariah. Though there are a few scenes of Choppa flexing in front of his sports car and inside an immaculate mansion, the majority of the video is a montage of touching moments between him and his lady.
You can check out the "Forever" video above. The song arrives as Choppa looks toward his next full-length project—the follow-up to 2018's No Love Take Over. Choppa spoke about his plans earlier this month, during an interview with XXL magazine.
"I wanna drop a tape, but I’ve got so many good songs that I want all of them on one fucking tape," he said. "I want that one hard-hitter that everybody just remember forever."
Earlier this month, Choppa kicked off the inaugural Need Learning Everyday (NLE) Reading Challenge in his hometown of Memphis. Launched in partnership with Cornerstone Prep Denver, the initiative aims to "inspire children to read and achieve higher academics." The rapper stopped by the school last week to meet the students and read an excerpt from his favorite book Captain Underpants.
