They said I should get help ..amongst other things ...my sixth album “Wow... that’s crazy “ officially on the way . October 11th pic.twitter.com/3QmBDRlsTu

Earlier in the day, Wale took to Twitter to talk about how people have "counted me out so many times." He continued by thanking his fans for the success of his "On Chill" single.

They counted me out so many times ... I laugh at them in “contra code” lmao that’s how many lives Folarin got. Another 1 and I’m Parkin it.. thank everybody for this one keep streaming and downloading and sing this at the top of your lungs on this tour . #onchill pic.twitter.com/1EoSBU9LAO

A day after he announced his sixth studio album, Wale returned to Twitter to get a few things off his chest. The rapper accused "somebody" of trying to break him and make him look crazy. He then listed the ways the rollout for his album was screwed up:

This how they try to make me look crazy .
1 they fucked yo my lyrics AND lyric video
2. Released my album artwork with 20 min notice
3. Released tracklist with out my knowledge
4. Submitted all the wrong photos for press
I’ll tell y’all the rest in a few ..

— Wale (@Wale) October 1, 2019

The point is this . Somebody internally is trying to break me.. because I’m losing my cool and I’m tryna stay on the right side of things but enough is enough . This what they do and when u react they call u crazy or say it’s small stuff .. this is their game

Wale went on to say that an inaccurate version of the album's tracklist and cover art was released, and he wasn't notified until 20 minutes before he took the stage.

"They told me I’m over reacting for bein mad ... same ppl that want the credit for ANYTHING that goes right ... u hate to see it," he tweeted. "Ight I got a lot to be mad about right now. And to be honest I’m irritated but I’m not gon put no more negative energy in the air. Y’all showerin me wit love and I’m not goin let that be in vain . #everythingisFINE right? Ok then. Y’all know who on the album now ... let’s get it."
