London-based singer-songwriter Ayelle kicked the year off strong with a warm and dreamy piece of R&B called "Obvious". That track has so far racked up over 1.5 million Spotify streams and the steady stream of intervening singles have done just as well. Now she's back to continue her impressive run with "Worst Way, a collaboration with U.S R&B singer Naji and her frequent producers Brad Baker and Jonah Stevens. The result of this coming together is an understated, smokey number and Ayelle and Naji's occasional harmonising gives it all the more passion as they sing about falling for the wrong person,

Speaking with Complex via email, Ayelle told us: "I wrote 'Worst Way' about falling for someone against your better judgement. It's about that type of intense longing that you can't seem to stop or do anything about, you just have to be close to that person. I'd also been a fan of Naji's for quite some time and the song provided the perfect opportunity to blend our styles together."
