One of the albums I've returned to most this year has been Juice WRLD's Interscope-backed debut Goodbye & Good Riddance. With Simple Plan-level gloss on the melodies and the perfect amount of sneer, Juice WRLD has quickly carved out his own lane among his emo rap peers, and now he can say he brought that winning combo to national television.

Tuesday night, WRLD hit up Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a Sex Pistols t-shirt to perform Goodbye & Good Riddance single "Lucid Dreams." The performance, assisted by a live backing band, is a special one. Catch it in full up top.

As WRLD explained to Genius last month, "Lucid Dreams"—one of several breakout WRLD tracks that have amassed millions of plays on YouTube—came together during an otherwise typical day of writing. "It was an ordinary day, just regular routine," he said. "What I usually did when I was making music [was] I would just sit in my family room and play beats on the stereo and just write to 'em. I had no idea that it would be a song that blew up."

Lyrically, the track is inspired by equal parts sleep paralysis and the perception of love. "I do not trust my head and my heart because I do not know which is which sometimes," WRLD said.

You can currently catch Juice WRLD on his WRLD Domination Tour with Lil Mosey, YBN Cordae, Jack Bruno, and more.
