The first week sales numbers are officially in, and Logic did well with his debut offering, Under Pressure, scoring a top-5 entry on the "Billboard 200" chart and moving 73,000 units in total. T.I. was also able to make a strong statement with the first week sales of his album, Paperwork, securing 80,000 units sold, which was good enough for the second spot on the chart.

In non hip-hop album news, Slipknot was able to grab the #1 placement on the "Billboard 200," selling 132,000 copies in the first week, while Neil Diamond's Melody Road came in at #3 with 78,000 copies. Looking forward to next week, it looks like the drought of no platinum albums in 2014 will come to screeching halt, as Taylor Swift is projected to sell between 900,000-1,000,000 copies with her new album, 1989.
