Miley Cyrus has unveiled the album art for Bangerz, her highly anticipated album slated to come out October 8. She first posted the artwork on Instagram and then shared it with her Twitter followers, with a tweet that said: "You know the vintage YSL don't stay on for long ."

The artwork itself seems to be inspired by Miami Vice, and sees Miley standing in front of palm trees under the night sky. To the singer's left side the title of the album appears, a neon sign amongst a canopy of trees. The album, Miley's fourth, is slated for an October 8 release date, and includes production from Pharrell and Mike WiLL Made It and appearances from Future, amongst others.

Miley is set to perform her lead single, "We Can't Stop," tomorrow at the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn. In the meantime, the young singer has been making the most of her time in the Big Apple, doing what she does best: turning up.
