Hillary and Bernie

Even though it’s been four years since their Democratic primary battle, Hillary Clinton’s feelings about Sen. Bernie Sanders haven’t changed.

In a forthcoming Hulu documentary series titled Hillary, Clinton says that “nobody likes him.” She added, “He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It's all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.”

While discussing the doc with The Hollywood Reporter, Clinton was asked if that assessment still stands, to which she said, “Yes it does.”

She also blasted the “culture” around Sanders, particularly following the controversies he’s had with Democratic rivals like former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Clinton also added that she wouldn’t yet potentially endorse Sanders as the Democratic nominee.

“I'm not going to go there yet. We're still in a very vigorous primary season. I will say, however, that it's not only him, it's the culture around him,” Clinton said. “It's his leadership team. It's his prominent supporters. It's his online Bernie Bros and their relentless attacks on lots of his competitors, particularly the women.”

Clinton said that Sanders has “not only permitted” that culture but is “very much supporting it.”

One of Sanders’ recent high profile disputes has been with Warren, whom he allegedly told that a woman can’t win the White House. “I think [that sentiment] is untrue, which we should all say loudly,” Clinton said. “I did get more votes both in the primary, by about 4 million, and in the general election, by about 3 million.”

“This argument about whether or not or when he did or didn't say that a woman couldn't be elected, it's part of a pattern,” she added. “If it were a one-off, you might say, ‘OK, fine.’ But he said I was unqualified. I had a lot more experience than he did, and got a lot more done than he had, but that was his attack on me.”

People have reacted to Clinton's strong wording, many taking to Twitter to back Sanders.

We are going down the exact same path as last time. Hilary just helped Trump. People call Bernie divisive, but he has never said anything as divisive as that. I dont even know if Im voting Bernie yet, between him and Warren, but what Hilary said was wrong, pointless, and hurtful.

Hilary saying, “Nobody likes him”, speaking of Bernie Sanders, reminds me of the movie Mean Girls. Such a Regina George move. pic.twitter.com/25SFdtc115

this is where mainstream dems show their lack of values. Bernie held rallies stumping for Hilary. More of his supporters voted for her in 2016 than Hillary supporters in 2008. Now she's saying she won't back him if he's the nominee. BC the rich are terrified of progressives https://t.co/GbiJmFlzng

Hilary Clinton & Donald Trump went into the 2016 election as the most unfavorable candidates in US history. Bernie Sanders will go in as one of the most favorable.

Thanks for the anti-endorsement Clinton, trust me it helps us more than it helps you. #ilikebernie #BidenIsCorrupt
